We are happy to announce that we will be offering a 6-week class on Thursday evenings from 7-8:15pm. Eileen Nadzam, long-term student of Tempa Lama, will be leading this class. Eileen holds an M.F.A. degree in music from Carnegie-Mellon University, and owns and operates her own music studio. She previously served for six years as the Olmo Ling chant leader and is director of the Music for Menri project.

This class is experiential in nature. We will explore the use of sound, mantra and chant as a a portal to development and transformation of the self. While history, technique and relevance of chant and sound will be discussed, each class will involve the use of drums, bells, singing bowls and the human voice as a means of dissolving the karmic body and experiencing our true nature.

Registration and costs

Tuition for the 6 weeks class is $60. All income from this class will support the maintenance of Olmo Ling temple. Teenagers are welcome to join this class as well.
