In this retreat, Tempa Lama will offer instructions and teachings on Calm Abiding meditation, Self-awareness and Open Presence from the 11th century Bon Ati meditation lineage of Tibet.

Meditation on Calm Abiding provides a foundation for all other types of meditation, regardless of spiritual or religious tradition. Calm Abiding Meditation helps us to cultivate a quality of mindful attention. Lama Tempa will give detailed instructions on the meditation of Calm Abiding, and teachings on how to unify the calmness of our mind with the four immeasurable qualities of loving-kindness, compassion, eternal joy, and equanimity in the practice of Self-Awareness. Unifying this calmness with the four immeasurable qualities makes us mentally, emotionally and physically stable.
