In this weekend’s training, Tempa Lama will give explanations of how to conduct the Lu Sang Ritual and we will conduct the ritual on Sunday morning.

We share this earth and the water all around us with many living beings and unseen spirits. Sometimes our actions affect and threaten these spirits and this brings misfortune, illness, and natural calamities. The Lu Sang ritual is conducted to clear past unwholesome actions and ways in which we may have offended the Lu spirits due to our lack of awareness. In particular, the threefold demonic spirits or evil influences can bring disturbances and misfortune into our lives:

  • Gyal Dre spirits can cause death
  • Mang Dre spirits can cause misfortune and loss of wealth and livelihood
  • Bed Dre spirits can cause disease and health problems

Through the Lu Sang ritual practice we cultivate harmony between us and the Lu spirits, thereby bringing prosperity, longevity and happiness into our lives and the lives of our family and friends.
