The Meaning of Bon Symbolism

In this daylong workshop, Tempa Lama will give an introduction to the Bon iconography and the symbols we use in creating a temple space. He will explain the symbolic meaning of the objects and ritual instruments at Olmo Ling temple, as well as the Thangka paintings such as the Refuge tree. He will also offer teachings on the importance of an altar, how to set up an altar, and the requirements for setting up an altar or temple.

This workshop is for anyone who is interested in learning about and understanding the symbols and sacred objects of Bon. It is suited for both those who are new to Bon as well as for senior students.
