Tempa Lama will teach the ancient Bon practice of the five elements. According to Tibetan Bon, our bodies are made out of the five elements of earth, water, fire, air, and space. Tempa Lama will explain the role of the five elements for our human existence and their relationship with our body, mind, and well-being. Each element relates to one of the major organs: the earth to the spleen, water to the kidneys, fire to the liver, air to the lungs, and space to the heart. Each element also relates to one of the five main afflictions of ignorance, desire-attachment, hatred-anger, jealousy, and pride. In their transformed state, the pure essence of the five elements manifests into the Five Wisdoms.

Tempa Lama will explain the meditation and visualization of the practice for each element and give the transmission. He will explain the benefits of this practice and how we can use it to strengthen our health and energy and clear the five afflictions. He will also explain how we can use the practice of the five elements to strengthen the La (soul), Sog (life force), and Tse (life span).
