Longevity Empowerment of Tsewang Rigzin

with Geshe Yangton Tashi Gyaltsen Rinpoche

Saturday, August 29, 11am-1pm

Olmo Ling Center & Institute, 1101 Greenfield Ave, Pittsburgh PA 15217

Please join us for this special and precious empowerment. The powerful blessings of the Longevity Empowerment of Tsewang Rigzin support us in achieving a long life and healing the connection between mind, body, and soul.

Tempa Lama especially encourages you to attend this empowerment as a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. He invited Geshe Yangton thinking of the wellbeing of his students and the community here in Pittsburgh. Please bring your children, family and friends (children attend for free).

The great master of Bon, Tsewang Rigzin, is considered the main long life deity of Yungdrung Bon. Master Tsewang Rigzin taught that clearing the soul of negative influences helps increase our life span, heals the soul, and helps us live a happy life.

In a deep meditative state, Tsewang Rigzin received a special teaching on soul healing. It was transmitted to him by the dakini (female awakened being) Yum Chen Thuk Je Kundrol. This special teaching is called Tse Du Jha Ri Ma. It is composed of long life empowerment rituals, the soul retrieval ritual and life force retrieval ritual. Long Life rituals facilitate longevity, healing of body, mind and soul and bring harmony into our lives.

Sponsoring the prayer ceremony for this ritual

We offer the opportunity for anyone to sponsor the ritual prayers for the longevity, happiness and wellbeing of their family and friends. The extensive preparatory prayers for the empowerment will be conducted by Geshe Yangton Tashi Gyaltsen Rinpoche together with Tempa Lama and Yangton Geshe Tenzin, who is also a member of the Yangton lineage and will accompany Rinpoche. You can donate securely online here or by sending a check marked “Longevity empowerment” to Olmo Ling, 1101 Greenfield Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15217. With any questions, please contact Susan at bon@olmoling.org or 412 904 1112.

Geshe Yangtön Lama Tashi Gyaltsen Rinpoche is a descendent of the esteemed Yangtön lineage whose history is closely interwoven with the history of Yungdrung Bön itself. It is said that two of Lord Tonpa Shenrap’s direct disciples were Yangtön lamas.

Geshe Yangton Tashi Gyaltsen Rinpoche was the first member of the Yangtön lineage to receive a Geshe degree in 1986. He is also the abbot of the Yangtön monastery, Yanggon Tongdrol Phuntsok Ling, in his high-altitude home village of Tsarka in Upper Dolpo, Nepal. Geshe Yangton travels internationally to give teachings and empowerments.

Holder of the profound Yangton lineage which traces its ancestry back to Yangton Sherab Gyaltsen in the 11th century, Rinpoche has graciously agreed to offer this empowerment of Tsewang Rigzin.
