Tsa Lung Trul Khor Yoga | Teaching and Transmission

with Tempa Dukte Lama & Geshe Chembel Gurung

Saturday, October 22nd – Sunday, October 23rd, 2022

from 9:30am – 1:00pm EST

via Zoom & In-Person at Olmo Ling Bon Center

Simultaneous Translation will be available in French, Spanish, and Russian online.

Tsa Lung Trul Khor is ancient Tibetan Bon Yoga. It is a contemplative practice that employs breathing, physical movement, vocal sound, visualization, and deep meditative awareness as a path of harmonizing the body, mind, and energy, and attaining awakening. Among the cycle of Bon Trul Khor teachings, the Tsa Lung practices are regarded as particularly accessible while also powerful and beneficial. These practices are simple and gentle and do not require a lot of flexibility. No familiarity with Trul Khor or yoga is required.

Tempa Dukte Lama and Geshe Chembel Gurung will explain how imbalances in the five elements cause agitation in the five winds, five internal organs, five senses and corresponding external limbs. Due to these imbalances and agitation, our health becomes vulnerable. The lamas will demonstrate and give detailed instructions on a set of simple and highly effective Tsa Lung Thrul Khor exercises of body, speech, and mind. They will explain how we can use these practices to balance and clear the agitation caused by the imbalances of the five elements.

Registered participants will receive a handout of the practice liturgy prior to the teaching.
