We are deeply honored to be hosting His Holiness the 34th Menri Trizin as part of his first world tour. Please join us for this precious opportunity to spend time with His Holiness and build a connection with the worldwide spiritual leader of Tibet’s ancient Bon tradition.

His Holiness will be offering a daylong teaching on Sherab Jamma, the female Buddha of love and wisdom at Olmo Ling temple. In addition he is offering a public talk and blessing (register here) and the empowerment of the wisdom deity Mawe Senge (register here). You can also register for all three events as a package.

Sherab Jamma is one of the four ‘Transcendental Lords’ of Bon and the highest deity of the Bon tradition. We are so fortunate to be able to receive this profound teaching on the Loving Mother and the Perfection of Wisdom from His Holiness, the 34th Menri Trizin Rinpoche, the lineage holder of the threefold Bon Path of Liberation: Sutra the Path of Renunciation, Tantra the Path of Transformation, and Dzogchen the Path of Self-liberation. His Holiness will explain the view, conduct and meditation from the teaching cycle of Yumchen Sherab Jamma, the Great Mother of Love and Wisdom. He will also explain the momentary and ultimate benefit of the practice of the Loving Mother, and when and how to use this practice for the benefit of self and other.

Following the teaching, His Holiness will be with us for a benefit dinner for the children and nuns at Menri Monastery. Read more and register for the dinner here.. You can also register for a package consisting of the public talk and blessing, the daylong teaching, and the empowerment on Sunday here.

His Holiness was selected as the 34th spiritual leader of Bon and abbot of Menri Monastery after the passing of the 33rd Menri Trizin in September 2017 in India on January 1, 2018, through an intensive prayer ritual. H.H. was born in 1972 in Amdo, Tibet. He received his Geshe (PhD) degree from Gamal Monastery in 1996, and his second Geshe degree from Menri Monastery in 2012. An accomplished practitioner of Bon, he has spent many years working closely with H. H. Menri Trizin 33rd in the oversight of Menri Monastery

Proceeds from this teaching will benefit the children and nuns at Menri Monastery, India, according to His Holiness’ wishes.

Menri Monastery – the main seat of Bon in exile – is offering education, shelter and health care to about 350 girls and boys, many of whom are orphans, refugees, or impoverished children who otherwise would not be able to receive an education. The nuns at Menri’s Redna Menling Nunnery – the only Bon nunnery in India – receive the same educational and spiritual opportunities. With your support, His Holiness will be able to expand this important work. Help the children and the nuns – the female lineage of Bon – to flourish with a donation! Thank you for your generosity.
